An eagle is any of several large birds of
prey. They include the golden eagle which has
a 2m (6ft) wingspan and is native to Eurasia
and North America. The white-headed bald
eagle which is mainly found in Alaska it is
now very rare. The Philippine eagle is
another endangered species, it is sometimes
called the Monkey-eating eagle, although
its main food source is flying lemurs.
